I’m a Canadian girl living in a coastal country town in Australia with my husband, our toddler, and menagerie (dog, cats, chooks (chickens), and bees). I’m a stay-at-home Mum, crocheting while my toddler sleeps, and busy running after her the rest of the time. We live in a tiny house that we built, on a quarter of an acre block, and we are attempting to “Permaculture” it as much as possible.

My crochet journey started as a teenager when my sister showed me crochet Pokemon on Deviantart…after we managed to figure it out by stumbling through the few YouTube videos available back then, we quickly became “hooked” (sorry), and the rest is history. I’ve been crocheting through different jobs, houses, countries, and responsibilities. I love that it’s such a portable craft I can take anywhere.

I started creating my own patterns shortly after learning to crochet, and let’s just say some of them are better kept in the archive 😬 After some more years of much-needed experience I was able to launch patterns like my Bilby and have others feature in magazines. It wasn’t until the start of 2023 though that I decided to give the business a “real go.” The first year had its ups and downs, but I found my niche, found a great group of business crocheters to collaborate with, and I’m more excited than ever to get new patterns into your hands.
